Protect your Eclipse Jet's very expensive pitot tube and AOA ports from weather and water damage with these durable and heat resistant covers.
Made with high temperature and fiber reinforced silicone, these covers have protected our Eclipse 500 and many others for over 6 years with no problems (do be careful with any ground testing or starts and leaving them on as they get HOT fast!).
Basic set includes three probe covers with a high visibility nose streamer for safety and pilot awareness.
Operating Tips
While the material is heat resistant, we recommend the probes cool to warm-to-the-touch or cooler before installing. The covers also seal very tight to prevent water intrusion.
They can be installed on wet probes, however since it is tight seal, you may want to take them off later and ensure that any trapped moisture has evaporated.
