Custom-made pitot tube covers for Cessna Mustang 510 series aircraft.
Designed to handle high temperatures, these pitot tube covers provide excellent protection from the elements and pesky insects that want to build nests in your pitot probes.
While they utilize high-temperature tolerant components (in excess of 350F) they aren't designed to be left on when heat is applied to the probes, or installed when the probes are hot. However, in the unlikely event the probes are energized with the probes on, you have much higher resistance to melting or damage to your probes than most pitot covers. Pilots who left them on the hot probes have told us they didn't melt but the others did.
This same Personal Wings design has been used on hundreds of jet pitot probes over several years with excellent results.
The set is comprised of 2 pitot probe covers with reflective tags.
